Kilted Baby on the bridge at Falkland Palace

At home with Grandma and Grandpa and Daddy, then Daddy packed us up and we got in the car to go to Falkland. We had a wee nap on the way (some longer than others'), and then joined Mummy and Grandpa and Mummy's friend in a cafe, then we all went to do a parade in the bright sunshine in our costumes. Baby and I were dressed in our kilts, sporrans, special socks with flashes and linen shirts. We enjoyed waving to everyone as we paraded through Falkland and into the palace, but as soon as we got into the field where other groups in costumes were, it started to rain, and then suddenly it was raining really hard. We did not have any coats with us and were wearing sandals so we got very wet. Baby screamed a lot at being put in the buggy with the rain cover on. Eventually we made it back to the car where Mummy fed him to calm him down and I got my wet things off which calmed me down, and we headed back home, leaving Mummy to find her own way back on the Dunedin bus.
