In memory

Today is a day which is always tinged with sadness being the day that my beloved dad died 31 years ago. I realised today he was only 2 years older than I am now .....a life cut short too soon.
Today is particularly poignant as I heard yesterday that one of my oldest friends is losing her battle with the illness she has fought so hard to overcome in the last few years. She lives about a 3 hour drive away so I don't see her as often as I would like but am going up next week.
So .....today's blip is a flower for Dad and my friend and all the others I have known who are no longer here.
