...in my backyard. These grow from clover so I guess one could call them Wednesday weeds....but it isn't Wednesday.

Garden folk refer to them as inflorescence & each of the white 'petals' are individual flowers. This is the common Trifolium repens - one feature distinguishing White Clover from many other clover species is that its stem creeps along the ground issuing roots from the stem as it goes.

There are usually 4 leaf clover in the backyard - but I didn't much care to search for one after nightshift this morning.  I do know bees love these, & as I'm not a manicured lawn person, they don't really bother me at all.
