Esmaltes Capo

I recently aquired this J.Capo 1960's? Melted glass on Copper lidded box. I had first seen a Capo piece in a local bric a brac store (very over priced) and was determined to get my own quality piece. I was lucky enough to find one on EBay.
There is not much information about these pieces. From what I can work out they were (semi) mass produced, mainly by Spanish artists for tourists. Garcia is another name, all being located in a tiny corner of Majorca. 
NB There seems to have been a lot of American tourists to Spain in this era, as there are many more pieces available on US EBay!
