Elderflower Cordial

I have always wanted to make elderflower cordial and this year I decided right at the last minute just before the flowers had completely finished. Bertie and I went for a long walk and came back with a bag of flowers which I had to steep in a syrup solution with cut up lemons for 24 hours. I have to say that the resulting cordial really surprised me, it's blooming lovely!!
