the relics of old decency ....

While we were out and about today we came across this derelict building,there is a huge clearance behind it where they are going to build a modern house and the swallows nesting in this building will not have a home next year because it looks as if this will be 'raised to the ground' as the old saying goes ....
I suspect I have missed something and that there is no derelict thursday BUT am posting anyway ...
