Our Day Out

We went to Quarry Bank Mill at Styal, and, after a picnic and a look around a bit of the mill, had a guided tour of the apprentice's house. In its heyday it housed 90 children, who worked from 8 to 6, six days a week, leaving Sundays free for Bible study. 

All in all a great success, in fact so much so that Finn remarked "This has been one of my best days ever".
