West Highland Way - Day 3

PIT STOP!!!

In the middle of a deep dark forest there was a cute little white cottage ... just over its wall the owners had left out this chest of pit stop treats with a little honesty box to cover costs!!

Chocolate chip cookies, tablet, juicy water and a box of things like plasters, TCP, etc! Very thoughtful!

We sampled some tablet - it was the owners granny's recipe and Paul reckoned it rivalled his own Gran's tablet ... high praise indeed!!! The juicy water was refreshing!

Had we known what lay ahead we would have taken another pack of tablet!!!
