Sheep in the sunshine

What a day!

No rain to stop the play so I kept missing wickets at the Test Match (there were plenty to miss!) while the second (bigger) half of the hedge trimming was completed - a job well done in the end.

Dad to the Dentists for new dentures - a big change so fingers crossed for the next few days.

In the evening I set off for a walk but gave up with a sore heel - mismatch of socks and boots and it turned out well as I ended up watching a large number birds in the sunshine.

Wonderful to see some signs of successful breeding with 40+ House Martins and yipee! around 20 Swifts.
