Nearly Blue Moon

Fairy lights under a full moon - does this mean magical things will happen? Tomorrow there will be a 'blue moon' - a rare astronomical event - some define it as the second full moon in a calendar month but apparently this is not necessarily the case and there are other explanations - which I won't try to explain as I haven't got a proper grasp of them yet!
