The view from Largs was magnificent, but the most remarkable thing about today was the job our son an heir has done on our errant hedge. Our neighbours have been complaining for some time that it was too wide - it is now half the width it was before, looking ugly at the moment, but hopefully will be dense again by next bird nesting season. Son was ably assisted by the Prof who lunged mountains of stuff to the council composter. And, no, I wasn't lounging about I was helping clear out someone's rental flat. So it goes.
