Bright and Breezy

There's been more sun around today, thank goodness. How good the local public flower displays are looking, despite the unseasonal weather. These petunias look great against the warm golden ironstone walls of Northampton's Guildhall.

I spent an irritating hour on the phone to both Trainline and Royal Mail, attempting to trace lost rail tickets needed in a few days' time. Part of the problem may be our temporary postman (covering for the regular man while he's on holiday) who admitted today to sometimes putting post through the wrong doors in error! Anyway - long story short - the tickets are found so my trip to Newcastle next week to see a friend I've not met with since 1986 (!) goes ahead.
