Poi poi

On Sunday as we left St Bees we met these two charming lads also doing C2C and sporadically over the last few days we've crossed paths. Last night they were in the pub at Patterdale after a detour along Striding Edge, looking slightly shell shocked, but managing to poi poi there. Today we met again at the top of Kidsty Pike and got to see the poi poi in action. Poi poi, a Maori welcome ritual. Thanks Matt and Jonny. We probably won't see them again as they pressed on to Shap tonight and will be a day ahead of us from now on reaching Robin Hood Bay a week on Saturday.
