R.I.P. NME

This is the last edition of the New Musical Express that will be available to buy across the counter. The magazine has been going since 1952 and I have been an avid reader since the early 1980's, still buying it on a weekly basis even tho I am far too old for this pop music malarkey! I
I'm sad to see it go although there will be a free version from September available at the usual outlets, and the excellent website has been around for some years now.
I'll pick up the free version when available but don't expect it to be of the same standard or quality as this contentious and cantankerous publication has been over the years.
