Avocado Pie

Actually, California Summer Avocado Pie. If you like Key Lime pie, you will love this one. It is very similar to Key Lime, but better I think. I have used both lemon juice and lime juice, and either one works just as well. It is quick and easy to make, and soooo delicious. I like to use a premade store bought shortbread crust, which makes it really easy. A graham cracker crust works well also.

It was the twin's (Mira and Alanis) birthday today so we had a small party for them this evening in our back yard. The Monroe's have several birthdays the end of July and were sick of birthday cake, so tonight they got birthday pie.
