A great evening's entertainment as Chester completely ripped apart a young Liverpool team.

Star of the evening was John Rooney who scored a magnificent hat-trick and my blip today features him with the match ball. Like his brother he is an Evertonian so it must have been especially sweet to score three against the Reds. The first was an excellent team goal but the other two were stunning long range efforts and I'm already thinking I will be lucky to see better goals all season.
