My heart will go on

So after a beautiful day came the torrential downpour of today. We were up early and into the pools for more slides & waves & fountains to play with but only until it was time for football coaching. We may as well have not bothered to dry off from the pool. In fact it may have been more suitable to our swim wear than footy gear. The 5-7 year old troopers played on through the lashing wind & rain while a bunch of us parents stood dripping on the sidelines. Their valiant endeavours won them all certificates & medals so was deemed worth the effort. The sneaky looking robot in the blip was all part of the afternoon entertainment and managed to reduce Miniman from his normal big brave boy stance to that of a clingy limpet. I must make the most of this while it lasts.
