Juvenile White Pelican

I didn't have a lot of time today (for hunting dragonflies) so I was happy to see this young pelican who still has some of his dark feathers.  There is a large pelican "family" on this lake but they are usually hiding in an inlet out of photo range. This is the first time I've seen one out on the main part of the lake and he seemed quite content swimming around by himself in the sunshine.  :-)
