Mountain Village

Although the popular image of Spain is of beaches in fact the average height above sea level is over 600 metres making it one of the highest countries in Europe.

It is full of these small, whitewashed , steep villages reached by twisting narrow roads which are - like this one - often home to excellent little bars / restaurants / rural hotels which serve traditional food and have fantastic views.
