Wheat fields

The Wheat has not been harvested yet and still looks nice and golden.  I rather liked the contrast of the dark sky.  The extra is of budding acorns! What a cold wind there was today, where has summer gone?  Popped round to Mum's after work. She has a trip to Felixstowe tomorrow but was so worried as she is on extra water tablets.  Had a word with carers and they said they would leave it off in the morning and we hope this has persuaded her to go as she has been looking forward to it.  I have packed a little bag with extras in case.  Fingers crossed.
