Strange Plant

I don't know what this is and not even sure you can call it a flower. It was just unusual & interesting to me so I photographed it. When I see my friend Allan I will ask him. He has the most incredible green thumb and should write a book on gardening in small spaces.

I tried to get a photo of a bee on some lavender but did not have the ISO cranked up enough to get a fast enough shutter speed. Bees don't stand still for portraits....LMAO! Will try again.
