A Butterfly at Last!

I know people further south have been posting lots of beautiful pictures of butterflies for months now, but I've seen very few this year.  I was delighted to see not one, but two of these small tortoiseshells on my plant pots today, although they were reluctant to sit still for long enough to let me focus properly!

I've been blaming the birds for eating my cherries, but the extra photo will show just who the guilty party is:-)

I'm posting early tonight so that I can have a play around with Windows 10, which I am about to download on to my laptop.  Not sure how it, or I, will cope with the new system, so the air may be blue round here:-)
