"Free-range eggs? Man, you must be yolking. Me and the girls, we're prisoners cooped up in this, er, coop with nothing to do but lay eggs all day and dream of freedom.

"We're planning a break-out. Wanna help? Come on, don't be chicken. Just open the door and create a diversion to distract the farmer and his dogs. Break a few eggs or something. Then me and the girls can make a run for it, just like they did in that Mel Gibson movie . . ."

Well, I'm sure that's what she was saying to me, but perhaps we'd both been in the sun too long.
