Charlie takes a bath

He is not looking his best. I think I can even see his ear. I think there is something comical about the picture. He looked fine when he had dried. His latest batch of chicks fledged in the last few days. They must have come out of the nest a few days ago because it takes them a few days to learn how to fly. So far I have seen one but there are probably more. When the nest was in my yard (walled) I used to see the chicks scuttling about the undergrowth for few days but now the nest is  few houses away from here.
