Scoop!

Had some boring car-related-admin to do this morning in Ferndown, so thought we'd improve the day by popping in to Kingston Lacy (National Trust property) afterwards. They have lots of ride-on tractors in their Kitchen Garden which is a favourite with kids of all ages. This Claas backhoe tractor was a new addition, and Ted hovered hopefully around it for ages before he got a turn. He had a great time once he got on it though and didn't seem at all bothered by the futility of scooping water from one side of the puddle to another!!

Leaving was difficult for him and we had many tears, but it turned out that he was totally exhausted as he fell asleep at 4pm... for the night!
