Running on empty

Driving into the village today the spring was running slowly so I chose to get the shopping done first. Driving back home it had spluttered to a drip. From now on we shall have to use the spring further down the hill which runs all year round. It has been very handy for us as well as tourists that this spring has continued to run for as long as it has. It has been dry for the last five or so years.
