And it all starts again.....

They are cute, but that cuteness just doesn't stop that feeling of doom that it's all going to start again.  Ten weeks of utter madness and very long hours.  I hate this time of year.  Hopefully those 10 weeks will pass fast.

This wee bull calf was born at 12.30pm this afternoon.  It was laying in the paddock enjoying the warmth of the sun.  It will stay with its mum for a couple of days, and then he's put in the shed, and we have to teach him to drink.  It can be hard back breaking work.  Calves can be very stubborn, refusing to drink at times.  

On a positive note, the sun came out today.  It was lovely walking through the paddocks after work.  Days like these make me appreciate where we live.
