Gotcha!

This fly has been making a nuisance of itself the last 3 days by continually landing on the lampshade above the table. Unfortunately I couldn't hit it while it sat there because the shade is made of paper and I didn't want to cause any damage to it. Today I made it my mission to try and capture it with a plastic container and an envelope and eventually succeeded. I wish I'd used a different colour envelope instead of a yellow one though.

The lie in I'd hoped for did not exactly happen as I would have liked it because I woke up not long after 7am! Fortunately, I managed to get back off to sleep for a while. Not long after I got out of bed though, my foot started telling me that it needed some more rest so I did not go out today and gave it what it wanted, especially as my shift at work tomorrow is going to be a rather long one.
