A bridge too far

Last night I would never have imagined Lola would make it through the night. After an SOS call to the vet and a triple dose of magic medicine she settled, regained a relaxed breathing rhythm and then had a comfortable night. Lola the wonder dog lives to see another day.
Today we went for the briefest walk along the canal She refused to go as far as the bridge so we ambled back to the car.......

Internet engineer duly turned up this evening; drilled, wired, tested, connected! All hail to Virgin Media. No need to go to the "Coffee Boy" for the free wifi today although it's good to know I can if the mood or the coffee takes me.
