Racing .....

..... pigeon.


I popped down to the allotment after work this evening, to pick a few bits and pieces to have with my tea. This pigeon was sat on the new deck I've built and at first thought it was a wood pigeon ( we get a lot on the allotment picking at the crops ), then noticed it was a ringed racing pigeon.

The pigeon didn't fly away when I approached it and it seemed very tame. It stayed walking around the deck for the 20 minutes or so I was down the allotment. I hope it just needed a rest from flying and was ok. So today's blip is the .....
