Winter in Summer?

Well hasn't the weather been pants?!! We even put the heating on for a short while today as the house felt so cold. After doing the post holiday mundane stuff, we went for a walk down St. Ouen's hoping for some interesting photo opportunities. It was so cold down there and really felt like winter with the cold wind and lack of sunshine. The tide was on the way up and there were people of all ages in the surf, but the surf was too rough for the serious surfers, or maybe they were still at work?

I took far too many photos, mostly because I had continuous shooting on and forgot to turn it off, oops. I like these two women especially because of the contrasting clothes they are wearing. Do you think the lady in blue could be the local and the other lady is the tourist?
