Amstel

Backblip.

I'm normally a real ale person but a good bitter is hard to find on the continent. Not that I'm complaining. I have a bit of a soft spot for Amstel. It reminds me of a holiday many years ago with L in Agios Nikolaos, Crete. We soon discovered that Amstel was about half the price of any other beer and later found out that this was because there was an Amstel brewery on the island. Happy memories of not a care in the world and pootling about on a little yellow moped.
