Quaking Grass

Recently I picked one of my favourite grasses (see extra) with its tiny little triangular purple-green heads shaking in the breeze.  The Quaking Grass (Briza Media) is very pretty when the little yellow pollen hangs down.  Among its several names are Totter Grass, Rattle Grass, Wibbly Wobbly, Dithery Docks and Shivery Shakes.
