A VERY rainy day, but we headed out to Exeter anyway. By the time we got on the train we were pretty much soaked to the skin.

We therefore had a VERY leisurely stop for coffee and cake in Boston Tea Party, then an equally leisurely browse in John Lewis. We got a bit over-excited about buying new things for our new house.

Did some more leisurely browsing before stopping for paninis with a view (a view that was quickly gobbled up by fog during the course of our meal), then headed home to bake - Gooseberry Meringue Pie (with the gooseberries we picked yesterday). Deeeelish.
