Seafar Woods

I posted a Blip from here fairly recently but, whereas that was a walk I did on my own, Tuesday's was taken on a walk with Cumbernauld & Kilsyth Ramblers.

We met in Cumbernauld Town Centre and our route took us through the woods at Kildrum, past Cumbernauld Theatre, down towards The Glen and then through Cumbernauld Village before heading up and into Seafar Woods. We had quite a good turnout - 30 walkers, compared to only 13 last Tuesday - and the rain was never more than a few spots at a time. Mind you, it IS summer and a bit of sunshine wouldn't have gone amiss.

Actually it was quite humid and more than one person on the walk had to wrestle with the dilemma of removing layers but still keeping dry. But, still, it was a pleasant enough diversion for a Tuesday morning and allowed us to get home in time for lunch.
