Bonding

 Father / Son bonding day today.  I love my dad, we’ve been through a lot together and it’s good to have that time together.


We went to the Aberdare Park Motorcycle Races, aka Aberscare, a regular pilgrimage we’ve made for many, many years.  With the forecast for Saturday good, there were crowds flocking to the park and for the first time in many years, we actually had to queue to get in.

It may have had something to do with Isle of Man TT legend, John McGuiness making an appearance at the park to sign his book and have a few ceremonial laps around the circuit.  It was great to see someone like that at the park, over the years we’ve had many of the greats from Mike Hailwood to Carl Fogarty.

It was a good day’s racing!

We rounded it off in the evening with an awesome curry from David Hasselhoff’s favourite curry house in the Neath valley.
