The Great British Summer

We were rather lucky with the weather yesterday.

I was rather pleased to wandering around Sheffield City Centre in shirt sleeves yesterday, especially as this was the scene today!

We both awoke mercifully hangover free! This meant we could enjoy a rather delicious breakfast in the hotel, before checking out and being picked up by Dan to go back to his house.

There was no way those of us driving could do so for several hours after last nights session. So it was coffee and burgers for lunch, and more catching up for the reunionists!

At around half four-ish we all said our goodbyes and it was time to go South.

The weather was atrocious all the way down the M1, but we came out of the worse of it the other side of Birmingham.

I was absolutely shattered when we got to mum and dads. They had dished us up Sunday lunch, bless them. It was much needed too!

We have a couple of weeks of normality (well what passes as normal for us) before our next adventure!
