Showtime

This is Natalia, Nigel and Amit admiring some of the work produced for the big HND show. Our New Media Students showed along with Graphics, Textiles, Illustration and 3D/Interior Design for the first time this year. Tonight was the industry night and from tomorrow it's open to the public. It's on up at th eDovecot in Infirmary Street if anyone in Edinburgh has time to get up for a look.

Also on the subject of New Media have a look at this piece which is the final degree project for a former student of mine, Mateusz Chojnowski, he's spent the last two years since graduating from the New Media HND converting it into an honours degree in Design and Digital Arts.

Well done to Mat (and his classmates Emma and Oksana) and to all the currentsecond year New Media students who have put together some great work despite having to put up with me for two, and in some cases three, years...
