Woods with the Beans

Katie went to Church this morning with our friends. It was the first of the summer series. The meeting was held at the racecourse. our building is having summer repair work done, the racecourse conference room was the  alternative option! 

She was dropped back off and did some good piano practice - with half an eye to the lounge window. For the JumpingBean family were arriving this afternoon. Katie and the boys immediately picked up where they left off, several months ago, and trotted off to play lego. They all appeared for some lunch and got right back to the lego and pretend play. Daddy Jumpingbean and I took the children out to the woods for a while. They climbed, explored, chased, hid, ran, laughed, den-built and generally were incredibly tolerant of the increasing rain that crept up on us. A good time was had! We put them straight in the bath on returning before they carried on with play and then more eating. They never hesitate to crack back on and play as if they see each other every week. Such a great visit! Thanks for coming, guys!
