The winner!

Here is Eyelad and emhowl's son, Jonathan, who won this evening's Carnethy handicap race. The race started from Red Moss and followed the road up to Bavelaw Castle and around/over Hare Hill. There were 32 runners competing and we all set off at different times depending on how fast we are (I should have been the first to start).

I was hopelessly late and arrived 25 mins after my start time. However, I had a good run up to Bavelaw and then along the Green Cleugh to meet the returning runners. When Eyelad came along we ran back together.

We rounded off the evening with soup and pizza at Dante's. Our group seemed to take over the restaurant, but we were made very welcome.
