Rannoch Moor
The best of a bad bunch of shots through the windscreen. A drive drive to Glasgow and then onto Cumbria. You may see a few walkers on the left hand side of the shot.
Rannoch Moor has an appeal, it is beautiful and desolate. Today was no exception although the upside of a wet day did mean less holiday traffic. All in all a good drive to Cumbria. John is here to assist his brother in a plumbing job for a new motorhome camp site near Basinthwaite. It will take 5 units and now almost ready to open to the public. Today they are connecting the hot water unit and shower. It will be a pleasant camp site for the Lake District with an outside tap, showers, an area to dump the unmentionables and next to a wildlife park. Not sure about that last bit.
We had visit the breast screening unit placed in the centre of Glasgow City, the mobile unit was on Mull when we were in Spain. We arrived an hour early and dealt with immediately, all in all an impressive set up.
