Don't go changing

We're on the road again.. Another hotel in another place along the way. Booked online with no real investigation apart from its on our way to Butlins tomorrow. How surprised was I then when nearing our destination I recognised first one and then the next village?
Last night for some bizarre reason Miniman had reminded me how on the way to last years 'Carfest' we had been travelling a remote country lane and had to stop the car to remove a branch from across the road which the previous nights rain & wind had blown down. I wasn't entirely sure but a turning we had just passed looked very familiar. Then we drove through the picturesque village of Overton and it was serious Deja Vous!!!
How peculiar that he had thought of the branch and then we end up a couple of miles from the spot in a hotel down the road.
Life can be spooky sometimes doncha think?
