Sparrow Hall

We've been working with a Liverpool youth group for the last 18 months, documenting a scheme called 'Young Leaders'. Young people from Sparrow Hall have been developing team building skills, learning how to work well in a group, and challenging themselves physically and mentally.

These were the young peeps we went to the Outer Hebrides with at Easter as the culmination of their project.

Tonight was the premiere screening of the film we made for the group, held at a church hall near the youth groups HQ. After watching 18 months pass in 35 minutes, certificates were presented to the participants to celebrate various achievements made along the way, and some young people gave short speeches. Most brought family with them to the event so they could see what the group had achieved. There was a big buffet to celebrate at the end, and a general feeling of positive optimism for the future in the air.

We've seen the group learn so many new skills over the last 18 months, and although it's sad to see the end of the 'Young Leaders', it's good to feel we've had a part in such a successful project.
