Manchester Moai

Stopped by the Manchester Museum to get out of the rain, meaning to have a coffee and instead dropped in on the special exhibition "Making Monuments on Rapa Nui". Fascinating stuff, and quite a moody blip from my iPhone. This statue is Moia Hava, one of very few made from basalt rather than volcanic rock, and was on loan from the BM.
