Bishop of Llandaff...

It's so cold, grey and wet that I've put some of the taller plants for my garden, like the Bishop of Llandaff Dahlias and the Crocosmia Lucifer, in the greenhouse in an attempt to bring them into flower. But the weather is so miserable, more like October than July, that I'm probably have to send them to Spain for a few days! If you're out and about in St. Ann's Square next week come over and see how they are doing.

This Sunday is a good time to come. Having had the Manchester International Festival this year, means that the Manchester Jazz Festival and the Dig The City Garden Festival are concurrent and this Sunday there's a garden/jazz mash up in the city centre.
