Balance

My two weeks' teaching on an English Language Summer School has begun. I'd forgotten quite how much work it is and quite how difficult it is fitting in the preparation. I'd also forgotten what it was like to have slumped adolescents being morose at the edge of the room. Do I focus more on those who want to learn or more on engaging the disaffected? I'm glad I don't have to deal with this every day of my working life.
