Monomonday: Spring

Tess's maiden name was Spring and this is the photo I took for today's challenge of the last photo her Dad took of her while she still bore that name, just before they set off to the church for our wedding.

She is holding one of the bunch of red roses I sent her that morning and is, of course, even more beautiful 38 years later than she was then - and looking over my shoulder as I type this:)!, - but none the less true for that. I'm a lucky man.

It also happened to be a bright, blustery Spring day.
