Love this time of year!

Our front garden is a summer flowering one and at last everything is coming out. Big group of red hot pokers with one of the bundles of iris behind. Love all the colours and the red hot pokers are covered with bees taking nectar. As they begin to die back the blue tits are all over them to take the seeds. We are letting everything flower and then major overhaul as it's so boring the rest of the year!! I phoned the nursing home to find out when mum was being dropped off tomorrow and they told me they thought they had her till friday. How great is that? An extra day!! Oh joy. Xx
