Butterflies

when the sun came out, not often, the butterflies appeared. This Meadow brown performed better than usual, so gave it star billing. They mostly drop right into the deep grass and fold up their wings.Its eyes are enormous and show why they flit off at the slightest movement.
The extra is the tiny Small Heath which, although it is closed up looks good amongst the Eyebright. Its eyes are amazing too.
