Eigergletscher

Today we drove from Lake Lucerne to Grindelwald and then up with the train to Kleine Scheidegg, where we are staying for the night. We made a walk towards the Eiger Glacier and were surprised about the few people around. Seems that yesterday the place was crowded, but not today. Once the last train has left, the evening and night will even more quiet.

In the middle of the shot it is the Eiger Glacier, with the Eiger mountain top hidden in the clouds to the left. The mountain visible here is the Mönch (4107 m). Tomorrow morning we plan to take the first train to the Jungfraujoch using the voucher we have received from a friend.
